My love for horror movies started at an early age, my older brother had a Betamax video recorder with hundreds of movies, ranging from horror, action, sci-fi, comedy, I loved them all, but the one genre that stood out for me was horror, the feeling of anticipation when finding a movie with an awesome title like Zombie Flesh Eaters. Not knowing what was in store for me after I pressed play was exhilarating. When the movie played out its nasty face rips, eye gouges I would jump with joy. Sick, yes I know. Now, as a 35 year old man, I'm still, if not more of a horror fanatic, no the right word would be addict, who watches, writes and produces movies that I would personally want to watch.

I have been fascinated with light ever since I first saw a painting by Claude Monet, who used to paint the same composition at different times of the day and in different seasons, to see how the light changed. My passion for digital cinematography has lead to me working on numerous independent shorts and feature films, commercials and TV dramas. Companies I have worked for include: BBC Drama, CBBC, Tiger Aspect, Red Production Company, Big Talk, Kudos and Sony TV. Television programmes I have worked on as camera trainee include: Scott & Bailey, Happy Valley, From There to Here and Peaky Blinders. My favourite cinematographers are Roger Deakins ASC BSC, Christopher Doyle HKSC and Bruno Delbonnel AFC ASC. I also love the work of Guillermo Navarro ASC AMC and Janusz Kaminski.
I love movies, like love them! I could watch them all day and have spent weeks doing just that, everything about them, how they take you out of life and transport you to whatever world the movies set in, like your in a new life, I love how they are so different and unique and it is an utter dream come true.
